Yes, I'm upset that all of the shows on TV I watch are on the list, but I'm not complaining. The new rush of reality TV is annoying as hell, as I can't stand those shows at all. But this is not the writers faults.

Yes, they are striking and they want more money that doesn't make them greedy. Sure the c.e.o.'s take a risk by putting the media out there for us and producing the show, but like it or not - a show is only as good as it's writers are. No matter how good the actors are, it means nothing unless the script is worth it.

TYVM.

I'd love to make $62,000 average.Writers are just ...

I'd love to make $62,000 average.

Writers are just making everyone angry. It's amazing how many not so old & old movies I have been enjoying renting from our Library for just $1.00 a week. And reading novels again.
I don't know the details, so how can I relate to the writers, they know what job they are getting into, if they get a back end percentage of the profits the bigshots should up that so if the shows make good the writers make good - across the board it's a business. Hey I'm stuck in a commission based job & I pay too much for medical insurance that screws me on technicalities, I had to make a 2nd mortgage just to manage for as long as I can, I never knew my job would beat me down I do all the hard work & have to keep learning and supply my own working tools. But if i am wrong about this contract then they (the writers) are selling their script. Which is essentially paper with choice words on it, this is what the CEO's would be buying not the the work of the writers like they do with actors. therefore the CEO's own the scripts and can do with it what they want and the writers would not be able to claim royalties. Thanks for putting this together, and for being the #1 result on google when searching "writer's strike update."

I have to say, the CEO's really need to come up with a solution. I agree with the writers and I understand where they are coming from. Oddly enough though, everyone will start to see the results of this soon, including those CEO's! Viewers are upset, actors too, and without new episodes, there will be no Season DVDs to market! Not to mention these shows are probably losing their following during this strike! I know I get so frustrated when Grey's is a repeat, I may eventually forget to tune in once it finally does come back!

Heya, there are *3* episodes left of dirty sexy m...

Heya, there are *3* episodes left of dirty sexy money. Jane Public.... what if the public went on strike what the heck would the big guys do? Seem to me we always allow others to be in control as we never unite against anything the gas prices, the irs, increasing taxes, insurance hikes, and on and on. I think if all of us ever stand together it would be amazing. If everyone of us just turned the tv off for one week what effect would that have on tv.

I am not sure my correction to my previous post ab...

I am not sure my correction to my previous post about Moonlight posted...I meant the last episode was 1/18...and it was the 12th....

Any info on Rescue Me?

Any info on Rescue Me?
