Well, for anyone following my quandary of which phone to get after a long (probably too long) time deciding, I went with the free Blackberry Curve. It makes sense given the fact that I'll use thing primarily as a work organization tool (Outlook is what we use) and secondly as a phone and lastly as a web device. The iPhone is cool for sure, but won't handle my business needs right now. Add to that the cost factor and the Blackberry was (should have been) an easy choice.
Well my Blackberry Curve arrived fully set up yesterday so I charged it fully and was ready to play with my new gadget. Guess what? After about 10 - 15 seconds of navigating, it rebooted itself. I mean it totally crashed and started up again. It continued to do this over and over until I pulled the battery to stop my frustration. I tried lots of different things to get it to work to no avail. Rather than search the internet for solutions, I decided not to hassle with it - especially since it is new and the IT group will just replace it with a new one that hopefully works.
This sort of thing has been a recurring theme for me this year....
