The Boxee team has released a bug squashing version as they ready a newer version they plan to release at CES next month.
Boxee is a project based on the xbmc (XBox Media Center) open-source project. Boxee was developed to be a “social” media center program that plays media from your home network and the internet and also allows you to stream or download movies, tv shows, music and photos.
Bug fixes in this release include:
- Netflix Streaming Improvement
- Netflix skip forward, skip backward and pause
- Hulu R-rated content (didn’t work properly in previous versions of Boxee)
- Menu button fix for Apple TV version
- TV Show scanning fixed
- Fixed missing thumbnails on friends activity and recommendations
- Video Calibration settings now being saved (Apple TV issue)
- Trailer option should now be showing for most of movie library now
