The Blogger Buzz blog announces a new "toy" they have released that does something that is somewhat of a timewaster, but I must admit - quite an interesting way to kill some time. It's called Blogger Play and its simply a web album that scrolls through the pictures being uploaded to blogger blogs in real time!
According to their announcement, they've had this photo scroller in the Blogger offices on a monitor or projector as a slideshow. In their words:
"Over the years we’ve kept this photo scroller as part of the Blogger offices, on a monitor or projector, as an interesting (distracting?) slideshow, and a reminder of the diversity and vivaciousness of Blogger blogs. The fame of the scroller spread within Google, until one day we were asked, “so, when are you launching this?”
While watching the photos scroll by, you have the following slideshow controls: scan pause, skip back, skip forward, speed up, slow down
You can also click on any of the photos and head straight to the blog that posted that photo. Certainly a unique way to browse random blogs don't you think?
