The very popular, multi-platform XBMC HTPC application released a new pre-release beta (1) of XBMC Dharma with many changes & improvements.
Notable improvements include:
- New add-on system that separates playback components, scrapers, visualizations, skins and other components and allows them to auto-update whenever community updates are available.
- Another notable feature is hardware acceleration support for some of the more recent video cards
- Improved GUI skinning framework engine
- Unencrypted Blu-ray Disc playback (via libbluray and libbdnav) without menus
