The Fall 2011 TV Season is nearly upon us. To get things started GeekTonic will run through all of the new TV series coming this Fall. First up is the new shows on CBS which preobably is the smallest list of new shows, but CBS can afford to introduce a smaller lineup of new series given their returning lineup.

This sitcom comes from the executive producer of 'Sex in the City.’ Two girls who form an unlikely bond over having no money and no shame.

A Gifted Man – Friday, 9/23 on CBS 8pm
A well-known surgeon (Patrick Wilson) begins seeing his dead ex-wife he starts questioning the meaning of life and his place in the world.

How to be a Gentleman – 9/29 on CBS 8:30pm
Based on the bestselling book series of the same name. Bert's a man's man, Andrew's a gentleman. Cast includes David Hornsby who also happens to be executive producer and lead actor. Also starring Kevin Dillon, Dave Foley, Mary Lynn Rajskub (of 24 fame), Rhys Darby, and Nancy Lenehan.

Person of Interest Thursday, 9/22 on CBS 9pm
CBS thinks this series is a sure-fire win. And they are putting it in a tough timeslot on Thursdays versus Grey’s Anatomy and Bones. Here’s why: The Producer is J.J. Abrams. It stars James Caviezel and Michael Emerson and the storyline pits a mysterious billionaire teaming up with a former CIA agent in order to prevent major crimes.
