GeekTonic Week in Review June 14

Below is a quick summary of the past week's news and stories on GeekTonic.

• BeyondTV 4.9.2 Released from Beta – Snapstream releases another update out of beta with several bug fixes and improvements
• SageTV 6.5.17 Beta Released – This release of SageTV brings a few very nice improvements and a ton of bug fixes.  I’ve been using it for the last few days and consider it a must-install version.
• SageTV HD Extender Firmware Released 20090611 – Some nice extender updates mostly bug fixes (one I used last night that fixed an issue with some subtitles showing when you didn’t want them to) and a few new features such as improved support for universal remote controls.
• Deal of the Day - SageTV HD Theater $20 Off!  This deal continues for the next week.  If you’ve been waiting for a SageTV HD Theater now would be a good time to pick one up.
• ATI Remote Wonder II with SageTV - RF Remote Goodness – An RF remote control with SageTV!
• HD Movie Trailers for a Dead HTPC Software? – A HTPC front-end program that is no longer sold still gets some user-development love.  This one is a cool HD Movie Trailers add-on.
• Deal of the Day - 2TB Hard Drive $230 – Must resist…..  But I might get it anyway as it’s still available at NewEgg for this price.
• TV Premieres: What to Watch 6/7 - 6/13
